Ali Williams

Ali Williams is a force of nature - a legendary All Black, fearless competitor, and dynamic leader whose impact extends far beyond the rugby field.

With an 18-year professional rugby career, Ali carved out his place as one of the game’s greats. A towering presence at lock, he was known not just for his athleticism and intelligence on the field, but for his unshakable commitment to team culture and performance. His resume speaks for itself: a Super Rugby title with the Blues in 2003, European and Top 14 championships with Toulon in 2014, and the ultimate honour - a World Cup victory with the All Blacks in 2011.

Ali’s legacy doesn’t stop at the final whistle. He’s a true team builder - a connector, creator, and challenger - who brings the same discipline and energy to business and life. As an active entrepreneur during his playing days, he co-founded KidsCan, one of New Zealand’s most impactful children’s charities, and has since built ventures that reflect his passion for people and progress.

Now, Ali is a driving force in the commercial property sector and a co-investor in Auckland Football Club (AFC), where his vision, grit, and love for high performance are shaping a bold new era for sport and community.
