Mark Pascall, Co-founder of The Wellbeing Protocol, is a New Zealand-based technologist, educator, and systems thinker working at the intersection of technology, governance, and social innovation. A recognised thought leader in Web3, he developed and taught the world’s first university course on Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) and has presented at two Parliamentary Select Committees on the potential of blockchain and decentralised systems to serve public good. With a background in software engineering and entrepreneurship, Mark has co-founded several ventures across tech, sustainability, and community development. His work bridges deep technological insight with a human-centred ethos, aiming to build tools and systems that support a more participatory, transparent, and equitable future. He is currently exploring how digital infrastructure can help scale localism and community-led funding models globally.
