Maya Pan is a technology leader and social innovator whose career spans global product leadership roles and strategic advisory work in Aotearoa New Zealand and abroad.

Maya has deep expertise in AI, privacy and trust-driven systems, shaped by nearly a decade working at Meta, where she led teams building generative AI products and previously worked across virtual reality, health, and privacy and safety teams.

Since moving back to Aotearoa in 2025, she currently advises founders and organisations on technology adoption and product development through Redwood Pan Group and leads the Education pillar for Growth NZ, where she advocates for broad-based AI education and upskilling across students, workers and job seekers.
