Saba Samiei is the Founder and CEO of MACSO Technologies, an award-winning New Zealand deep-tech company pioneering Edge AI for precision animal health. With a background in computer science and artificial intelligence, she has built a platform that enables real-time disease detection at the edge, helping livestock producers identify respiratory illness days before clinical symptoms appear.

Under Saba's leadership, MACSO has secured international partnerships across North America, Europe, and Asia, filed multiple international patents, and is commercialising AI-powered sensing technology with global animal health and agriculture partners.

Saba is a recognised leader in AI innovation, named one of the Top 10 Women in AI in APAC, winner of the Women in AI APAC Innovator of the Year Award, and recipient of the APAC Insider CEO of the Year (Edge AI)award. She has represented New Zealand on international stages, including the Science and Technology in Society (STS) Forum in Japan, where she has spoken on the future of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
