Partner Spotlight - Stones

Emily Rust kept seeing the same thing.

Leaders who were capable, motivated, and smart — but stuck. Not because they lacked ideas. Not because they didn't have a strategy. But because no one was helping them with the part that actually matters: the how.

As an organisational psychologist, Emily had spent years working alongside leaders and organisations, building clarity, capability, and ways of working that genuinely supported their people and performance. She'd seen what good looked like. She'd also seen what was missing.

"What felt genuinely missing was a system that could bring great ideas together, rather than fragment them — allowing leaders to dip into learning, perspective-building, and skill development in a way that suited their context, timing, and energy."

The leadership support landscape was crowded. Coaches, consultants, programmes — all doing good work, but in silos. Leaders were being asked to choose one provider, one methodology. And in doing so, being cut off from everything else they actually needed.

Emily didn't want to add to the noise. She wanted to change the system. So she built Stones. Not a course. Not a consultancy. An ecosystem.

Co-founded with her husband Campbell McLean and brother Nick, Stones was built at the intersection of psychology, technology, design, and real-world leadership experience.

"Instead of gatekeeping or competing, Stones was built as an ecosystem that celebrates diverse thinking and practical expertise. Leaders can access insight and tools when they need them, then go deeper with specific experts if and when it's useful."

"What connects us isn't just skillsets — it's a shared belief that leadership support should be practical, human, and genuinely useful in the moments that matter."

Because here's what Emily keeps seeing in the leaders she works with.

"Leaders are juggling increasing performance demands, unprecedented change, competing priorities, and rising expectations — all while trying to keep their own heads above water and genuinely support their people."

The result? Leaders who feel stranded. Reacting to whatever comes next. Rarely getting the chance to step back and chart a clearer course.

"The issue isn't motivation or capability. It's the absence of good advice in the moments that matter, clear focus on what's important, and intentional ways of working that actually support the work — and the humans doing it."

This approach and expertise has been woven into the design of Revved Pathfinder — a full-day leadership intensive coming to Auckland on 12 March 2026, built to give leaders the deliberate pause they rarely get. The how they've been missing. Tickets are limited — find out more and secure your spot at https://events.revvedassembly.com/

This partnership isn't about reach. It's about shared belief.

"Real change doesn't come from grand transformations or sweeping resets. It comes from small, intentional steps taken consistently over time. Less really is more."

That's the philosophy behind Stones. It's also the philosophy behind Revved.

Both reject the fragmented in favour of the connected. Both believe the most powerful outcomes happen when the right people, tools, and insights come together — intentionally, in the moments that matter.

Stones is becoming the ecosystem leaders turn to when they need clarity, capability, and support that actually works. And Revved is proud to welcome them as a Partner.

Because when we help leaders move from knowing to doing to being, what follows isn't just growth — it's impact.

Engines ON. Excuses OFF.
